Untitled Peter Fellows Vanity Project 4

The fourth instalment in which (the fictional) Peter is in his favourite pub, reminiscing about old times whilst facing a real contrast of emotions.
He has been nominated for and won a BAFTA (he really was and did), and his favourite pub is closing down (it really was).

For this the score strayed away from the usual themes. I still, however wanted to maintain the usual sense of realities of life, how things change, yet stay the same, how things are in many way, infinite, and bring you back to the same feelings, same places.
So I was back in Bristol, in front of another piano in another church, playing a really emotional, self contained and genuine piece of music for my vanity, and pairing it to this project.
It's another score I'm very proud of, and one of the first in which I remembered I had been trained as a singer for over 15 years and could perhaps use it on my compositions. It's funny what does change over time, and how much more comfortable using my voice in score I am now.
